BEDFORD / LAWRENCE COUNTY — Families looking for a play-based preschool option in Lawrence County now have a clear local choice.
Little Phoenix Learning Center, operating in partnership with Lawrence County Independent Schools, welcomed students for its first day on Monday, August 3, 2026. The program emphasizes hands-on, play-based learning designed to build early literacy, numeracy, creativity, and social skills in a nurturing environment.
Program Details
Ages Served: Children ages 3–5
Age Cutoff: Children must turn 3 by December 1, 2026
Hours:
- Full Day: 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Half Day: 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- Ages 4–5 must be toilet trained
- Children age 3 and under who are not yet toilet trained are required to wear pull-ups
Toilet Training:
The center follows the Lawrence County Independent Schools calendar. It remains open on E-Learning days and stays open until 3:30 p.m. on early-release days, giving working parents added flexibility.
Play-Based Focus
